German WWII Party Flags Lot of
German WWII Party Flags Lot of Two This large German party flag according a handwritten note states that is was used to cover the coffin of Heinrich Alfred Hermann Walther von Brauchitsch (4 October 1881-18 October 1948) who was a German field marshal and the Oberbefehlshaber des Heeres (Commander of the Heer [Army]) in the early years of World War II. After the war Brauchitsch was arrested and charged with war crimes but died in Hamburg in 1948 before he could be prosecuted. Also included in this lot is a small hand-held Nazi Party parade flag. Condition: Very good. Slight damage to one end of large flag which appears to have been tacked up somewhere.
