WESTERN FIELD NO. 48 BOLT ACTION RIFLE, .22 LR A vintage bolt-action boy's rifle manufactured by Ward's Western Field. The rifle features a round barrel with barelycorn front sight and fully-adjustable rear, with an underbarrel tube magazine mounted to a round-tube receiver all housed in a single-piece wooden stock. The firearm is in overall fine condition with a lot of aesthetic wear and some fouling build-up in the chamber. Rifling is still in good condition.
