  Whitney Spur Trigger Revolver .30 cal. rimfire 3" octagonal barrel S/N 1139B. Full New York-style engraving. Silver-plated brass frame; nickel-plated barrel and cylinder. Rosewood grips. Condition: Frame retains 85% of the original silver plating. Cylinder with traces of finish some brown staining on some of the flutes. Barrel retains 80% of the original finish. Grips are excellent. Engraving is very sharp and crisp.

No visible serial on loading lever or cylinder (possible replacements). Action good. Very tight infull-cock and hammer-down positions. Little finish remains. Dings from use and handling. No visible cylinder scene. This item can be shipped in-house.

Clean bore good rifling strong action. 80% blue on barrel 70% on magazine frame is blued but shows evidence of very light rust. Whitnetville Armory Ct USA Kennedy on barrel patent of Jan. Ap and AUG 79 on lower tang. Lettering is clear.

  ***ALLEN AND WHEELOCK CENTER HAMMER LIPFIRE POCKET REVOLVER. .25 caliber seven-shot cylinder 3'' octagonal barrel walnut grips engraved on the side plate ''H. P. Currier Newburyport Mass.'' Retains original holster. Gray patina with light scattered oxidation minor pitting at the bore and near the cylinder action smooth grip finish worn engraving crisp. Holster leather a little stiff but still in good shape with only minor losses. It has been converted to a rimfire.

Retains 60-70% orignal plating with scattered oxidation pitting in front of the cylinder and at the bore.
