A California landscape featuring the flowers for which Jackson's paintings are best known and loved, along the coast near San Francisco, where the artist began his career. Signed "W.F. Jackson." to the bottom left corner, and signed and titled to the reverse. The frame measures 22" x 26".
Condition
Good to very good condition. Some surface grime. There is a single spot of over-painting in the sky area at the top left corner (less than 1" x 1"), and a 1" scuff to the paint layer in the sky area at the top right. The canvas is original and has not been re-lined. The frame has small cracking and losses to the decoration.
