V-VII, IX printed by Robert & William Carr; Vol. VIII printed by Thomas Palmer, complete with 76 hand-colored plates including Ivory Billed Woodpecker and Carolina Parott, original quarter calf over marbled boards, 14 x 11 in. Plates vary from overall light browning to severe foxing, some with chipped corners, text varies from bright to severe offsetting and browning, bindings poor, some boards detached, spines, corners and all surfaces rubbed, corners bumped, Volumes 6 and 7 with signatures cut from title pages.
