Scottish Hepplewhite style inlaid mahogany mantel clock by Lackie Montrose late 19th century round top inlaid case housing unusual eight-day time and strike tandem wind movement with brass and black slate dial signed ''Lackie - Montrose'' on molded base; front of case with full fan paterae and presentation plaque which reads ''Presented to Mr. Walter Duff Fishery Officer as a token of esteem by the Fish-Curing Trade in its various branches of the Montrose District on his promotion to Wick May 1896''. Other Notes: A most unusual feature of this clock is the tandem winding of both time and strike springs thru the main arbor which holds the hands. The back of the movement is stamped ''V V 3276 patent 1883''.

E. Ingraham Time and Strike Spring Wound Ionic Wall Clock Rosewood with reverse painted rose repainted dial with Roman numerals. Time and strike with pendulum Springs are fine.Elias Ingraham (1805-1885) worked as a designer and cabinet maker for George Mitchell in 1828. He designed made and sold the first sharp gothic better known as the steeple clock. During WWII and the Korean War the company made anti-aircraft fuses.

Lumen Watson Cincinnati clock, tall highly figured cherry case with broken arch pediment, poplar secondary, mahogany veneered door and inset tombstone panel on base, shaped skirt and feet, arched and painted wooden dial, gilt spandrels and painted basket of flowers and pulled pink curtain, signed "L Watson, Cincinnati", interior door with inscriptions including "Frank Hanley(?) October 9, 1853", inside of door with compass work crescent moon, back painted "C.F.B. Co 1933", Ohio, 19th century, with period pendulum and small lead weights, 91 x 18 x 9 in. Dial with cracks and minor paint losses, original saddle board (appears to be good match), case with old refinishing (traces black paint on hood molding, back of hood pediment and feet), hood pediment appears to be original with later blocking, later brace to back of central hood element. The Collection of Ella and Dennis Layne, Asheboro, North Carolina.
