  WINCHESTER MDL. 62 PUMP-ACTION RIFLE, .22 LR A fine varmint rifle made by Winchester in the mid-1930s. The firearm features a round barrel fitted with a bead front post with a simple, elevation adjustable, U-notch rear sight. It is mounted in smooth walnut wood furniture with a corn-cob style front grip. The firearm is in overall great condition with only some minor finish wear commensurate with age as well as some minor dings to the stock. • WINCHESTER MDL. 62A PUMP-ACTION
  WINCHESTER MDL. 62A PUMP-ACTION RIFLE W/ WEAVER SCOPE, .22 LR An offering of a mid-20th Century take-down variant of Winchester's pump-action .22 rifle. The rifle has had its receiver drilled and tapped to accept an N5 weaver scope mount which is fitted with a model B4 Weaver 4X scope. The rifle features a round barrel with a driftable front sight and elevation-adjustable rear U-notch. The rifle sports a deep-blue finish, with walnut buttstock and corn-cob pump handle. The firearm was stored horizontally and has accrued some surface rust along the top of the barrel as well as the scope, which has fortunately protected the bolt and receiver from any moisture damage. There is also a screw missing from the right side of the pump handle. Rifling is still in good condition with no apparent corrosion. The trigger mechanism does enable this rifle to be able to "slam-fire." S/N: 352675, Caliber: .22 LR, BBL: 22 1/2", OAL: 40"

The bore is moderately pitted throughout. The metal surfaces are smooth and retain ca 85% original blue with light surface rust scattered about. It is mechanically excellent and all lettering is crisp. The stocks are excellent and retain nearly all of their original finish. This is a nice honest specimen.
