Well-splayed base with turned legs and ''H'' stretcher saddle seat turned arm posts knuckle arms and seven-spindle back with yoke crest and carved ears. Old black over earlier green. 16 1/2''h. seat 41''h. overall. A few old repairs on the left and right side of the crest. Left and right arms have old pegs. Split in the arm where the first post comes up.

ENGLISH SACK BACK WINDSOR CHAIR, 18TH C.An 18th century English sack back Windsor chair with saddle seat, carved arms, and bentwood arm supports. The chair has original paint which has worn off in most spots with polished patina. An appealing early example.
Measures 37 inches tall by 22.5 inches wide. Seat height is 14.25 inches.
Condition
Chair is in good condition with worn patina.
