Bartlett Arkell (1862-1946) was one of the founders of the Beech-Nut Packing Company, and for fifty years its president.

Light soiling, toning, edge stains to end papers, the binding with edge wear and small chips. 5 1/4" high, 3 3/8" wide. Provenance: Property of a Litchfield County, CT Estate.
