Pearson also took private lessons with Aldro T. Hibbard, Henry Leith-Ross, Henry Hunt Clark, Howard Giles, Harold N. Anderson and Chase Emerson. She was a member of the Allied Artists of America, New Haven Paint & Clay Club, the Ogunquit Art Association, and the Rockport Art Association.
