An Antique Jacot's Music Box Measuring apprx. 16"W x 7-1/4"D x 5-1/2"H with a veneered wood case with hinged lid inlaid with blossoms and leaves surrounded by decorative banding on the top and front metal escutcheon. The interior of the lid has a lithographed card attached where names of songs may be written. Wood framed glass hinged door protecting the works one cylinder appears to have all the metal fittings inside including a shield shape plate reading "Jacot's Patented Safety Check Sept. 22 1886".

Plays ten tunes and retains its original printed and handwritten music selection card. 6 1/2''h. 23''w. Plays but needs work. No pins or plucks missing or broken. Does not have key. Looks like an old stain in front (dark line). Inlay on front is partly faded (could be a replacement) and some is missing. Top board (lid) is cracked across entire length on inside but crack only shows 3'' on top of lid from right edge towards the center. Plays all 10 songs.
