bearing the name C.G. Woodland.underside marked T&V Limoges France.Height 3 5/8 inches.
Charles G. Woodland (1885-1957) was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1885 to William C. and Caroline Waltz Woodland. According to U.S. Federal Census records, Woodland worked as a salesman at a confectionary store by 1910. He married Martha Heath on August 26, 1922, and the couple had a son, Charles, in 1925. Woodland apparently switched industries by 1930, when census returns indicate his profession as a men's clothing salesman.
