CHINESE GILT & PATINATED BRONZE XUANDE MARK CENSER Chinese patinated bronze censer with gilt bronze border incised with dragon and Greek key motif, upon three feet with two dragon form handles, cast Xuande six character mark (1426-1435) to underside. 3.25" H x 5.25" W x 3.75" D. Provenance: Property from the Manhattan estate of Indrani Yogasundram, who lived in many different countries with her husband Yogaraj during his decades-long career as a Sri Lankan diplomat. In addition to the heirloom jewelry she possessed, Indrani acquired jewelry, art, and ornaments while stationed in China (1960-63), Sri Lanka (1963-65), and Iraq (1965-1967).
