WINOLD REISS (1886-1953) YELLOW
WINOLD REISS (1886-1953) YELLOW KIDNEYFeatured in this lot is this framed Winold Reiss piece on board depicting " Yellow Kidney," by German American artist Winold Reiss born in 1886 and died in 1953. The artwork features a wonderfully and professionally crafted image on board construction that shows chief Yellow Kidney clothed in a trade blanket with a dancing wand with ceremonial garments underneath the trade blanket. The artwork comes with information pertaining to Winold Reiss's operation and the object of this piece of artwork. The artist signature is shown in the bottom right hand corner. Artist Winold Reiss was born on September 16, 1886, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
