York Town 18 June 1793. ...I have purchased from the heirs & legal representatives of Peter Willhelm deceased a tract of Land situate in York Township York County which the deceased in his life time had purchased of your deceased father.... Signed Zach. Shryart who goes on to say that the bearer of this instrument his son also has documents which prove the land was purchased and paid for and now they would like to have the title which they had not received before the seller William Bouseman died. Condition: Water stained and toned. With expected folds. Main vertical fold partially separated. Long edge of back scuffed and frayed but this does not affect any text.

CORNELIS C. ZWAAN (1882-1964) DUTCHCornelis Christian Zwaan, nude reclining on sofa, oil on canvas, signed lower left, gallery frame. Measuring, 23" x 38.5". Note: Zwaan attended the Royal Academy of Art in Amsterdam with a scholarship provided by Queen Wilhelmina. His paintings began to find a ready market in the United States by 1909, and this success caused him and his wife to move to America in 1910. They lived in various locales and received portrait commissions from prominent persons including industrialists, bankers, political figures & social celebrities in New York, and Chicago.
